Election candidates were recently interviewed by Radio Sidney Peninsula Affairs Host, Peter Wainwright. Links to the interviews are below. To be fair and ensure voters can make an informed decision I have posted links to all candidate's interviews.

Thank you to the North Saanich Residents Association (NSRA) for hosting an all candidates meeting on June 13.
I am running for North Saanich Council and invite you to vote on General Voting Day July 8.
As a parliamentarian, strategic thinker and evidence-based decision maker, I will bring 20 years of experience working with boards, effective governance models and community engagement to the council table.
Our district plays a unique role in the Southern Vancouver Island region identified in the Regional Growth Strategy and the Urban Containment Boundary. I believe critical policy decisions in North Saanich should be made using these documents as the foundation. In particular, local policies and practices should carefully consider our forests, green spaces, farmland, marine areas and appropriate housing. With global pressures of climate change, agricultural viability and food sustainability should be our primary focus.
North Saanich has a wealth of expertise, experience, and historical knowledge within our community, in our residents, whose voices should be heard and harnessed to achieve these policy goals. It will lead to collaborative and transparent public engagement, which is imperative to creating strong communities and a relevant OCP. This also means providing residents and our First Nations partners meaningful opportunities to engage on a variety of issues, while carefully considering and respecting their contributions.
North Saanich translates into “the land where it is good to be”. A councillor’s job is a public service - to provide stewardship to ensure our district remains a good place to be for generations to come.
